San Diego County Youth Leadership Team
To ensure youth are actively involved in implementing the goals and objectives of the Policy Panel, a Youth Leadership Team formed. Young adults throughout the county participate on this Leadership Team. They develop and implement a prevention plan designed to complement the work being done to advance the Policy Panel’s goals and objectives. They plan and participate in media events, author letters to the editor, collect data, meet with policymakers, speak at city council meetings and participate in high-visibility law enforcement operations.
