Who We Are

Under the direction of Raymond DiCiccio, Executive Director and Patty Drieslein, Associate Director, the San Diego County Policy Panel on Youth Access to Alcohol is the lead organization for the San Diego County Underage Drinking Initiative. The Policy Panel is a coalition of community leaders and youth advocates from every sector of the community including public health, media, law enforcement, education, judiciary, military, clergy, concerned parents, community-based organizations, elected officials, and business, whose mission is to prevent underage drinking through strategic direction, support, and structure for efforts that are aimed at changing the physical, social, economic, and legal environment in which alcohol is made appealing and available to the youth of San Diego County.

Funding for the Policy Panel is provided by the County of San Diego, Health and Human Services Agency, The California Office of Traffic Safety, and the California Endowment.
