College Presidents' Forum Report

Introduction It is with great pride that we present this report, which documents the process of San Diego area institutions of higher learning joining with government agencies in an unprecedented regional effort to reduce underage and binge drinking among college students. San Diego area colleges and universities, the San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency and local police departments have undertaken a bold new effort to reduce high-risk levels of alcohol consumption, which negatively impacts the health, safety and academic progress of many students. The report is offered as a guide for generating momentous change in the alcohol environment at the campus and community level.
